I was wondering if it´s possible to make a REmote Desktop from a Windows 7 Laptop to a Simatic PG740 Computer with Windows 95. Does anyone have an idea?

We want to remote control the PG740 from the Laptop. I tried with Windows Remote Desktop pointing to the IP Adress that I gave to the PG740, but it didn´t work.

PG740 with Windows7? are you sure?

The PG740 was a old Pentium 100 MHz ÜProcessor witn RAM in MByte!

on such a system i hink is not possible to install Win7.

as far i remember Winodws95 have no RD client and no terminalservices.

Both is need for the RDP connection.
you should us a 3rd party remote Sw like ultravnc for this jop, the Windows RDP would not work.

ultravnc (old version) was released for Win95 , so search the web for older app and give it a try.

you can check the unv homepage if older versions available for download.

Thanks! I just Found that Versions 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 should work on this System. The Problem is that the files are a bit bigger than 1,44Mb, and I can´t copy them through the floppy disk from the PG740... I´ll Keep on researching.
