I ask because in most locations here in the US, a AS will be set up behind several layers of NAT routers, and as such, will have a local IP address - i.e. 10.3.4.5. Jim

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hi, if you have Internet access, than you use a Router anyway, so if you have such a device you have to configure port forwarding and than you can access the System... at least one of it. There is no additional Software required, if you read the document I think the situation is more obvious for you. Best regards J_Bell

I know that. I look for any Demo Kit references, which could be freely accessed in internet. Maybe someone (Marketing department, solution partners, etc.), “gives” the opportunity for customers to access a Simatic Hardware freely trough internet.

If someone requests a VPN test I know that a department offers for they’re solution a sample... but only for they’re solution. I fear there is nothing publicly available right now. They have at least on system where you can connect via teleservice - so by analog or isdn modem to check whether your connection is working. But I don't think they have one for ethernet / wan access.
