While performing an auto-tuning on the speed loop of one the drives, a disconnection of another motor cable occurred accidentally. The auto-tuning stopped suddenly and an error occurred on the motor module which is doing the autotune. Even after restoring the connections, and after reconfiguring the drive again, the error remains, and the RDY led on the motor module is always red. The faults are: F30021 Power unit: Ground fault F30005 Power unit: I2T overload What is the problem with the initial motor module? Is it defected? How can we diagnosis it? What does alarm 30021 mean in practical words? Thank you,

Subba Posts: 39 Rating: (2)	Hi, Please check the motor phase to ground and Phase to Phase resistance to ensure that the motor is not damaged due to the sudden disconnection. Resistance motor phase (all 3 phases one by one) to ground - Should show "OL" Phase to Phase (Among all 3 phases) - Should show same resistance value in Ohms. Check the cable also.... Is it normal to have this problem due to the sudden disconnection of another motor cable during auto-tuning? What should we do to avoid this in the future? Thank you

Can we protect the module by adding some kind of special hardware ? Siemens are the best, and they could have some solution for this problem. Best regards
