my work computer were migrated to windows 10 recently and I was forced to use Siemens STEP7 v5.6 Profesional 2017 instead v5.5 SP4. Installation went well and I'm able to start Simatic Manager however if I tried to open block from project it showed error Help on Message 256:26. When I tried open any of my old projects it close Simatic Manager completely and also when I tried open Help/About to check SW version it also closed Simatic Manager. But e.g. HW config is working normally. Do any of you have any idea what is wrong on my Windows 10?

It is Windows 11 version and I have installed all the service packs 

Have a look at the compatibility list. None of the STEP 7 V5.6/2017 versions is listed as compatible with Windows 11. The latest verison of this list can be found with following link, as an alternative also a screenshot from an older list as attachment.

It "can" work, but it does not need to.
