OutRuN Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello guys,i am new in this site and the siemens logo field so plz be patient with me :) Me and my friend are trying to make a program using the Siemens Logo PLC for an exercise and guess what;Although we have managed to download to the PLC small neat programms to test it when we have the whole programm ready and we try to download it to the PLC we get an Error in the form of "non invertible output" or something i don't remember the exact name of it.And note that the programm works properly in the Simulation we run beforehand. Do you have any ideas of which might be the source of this error??? Thanks :)

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, press F2 and see what the status window shows. In the most cases there are some function blocks without an following contact. For such errors use the "open connector" to finalyse the FB. After that is done you should be able to download. The simulation mode in LSC work fine but you can not download to LOGO! Hope this helps

It must go to: An other Block, or An Output, or an Marker Every used Block must be wired at leased 1 input side. Can you post your program, so wa can check it?

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, in LOGO!Soft Comfort just press F2. Then in the status windos (below the editor) you can find messages. If a FB is not connected you will find it listed here. Then go to the FB and connect it. If this is done download again. Hope this helps

It is a simulation of a part of a productive fermentation where we got a main bottle getting filled up with mixtures of the other 2 bottles and after this is done we got mixing in the main bottle.Right after we got(i do not know the exact word of it) a moving way having on it the empty bottles that are going to be filled up with the mixture of the main bottle.And this fermentation is repeated right after with the same steps.Of course we got sensors and all that for the controlability of the whole. I got the program attached.Hope you will help me out.If u need extra info on the I/O of the system i'll just note them down for you.Just let me know. Thank you. Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, You program is right. No problem to download. Where did you get your SW? LOGO! Soft Comfort V6.04S was never an official released version from Siemens! Go and by the official LOGO! Soft Comfort, or try to update via Help; Update Center. Hope this helps.

OutRuN Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Ok i as i said i had V6.0 and i did as u said i went to help and update center and now i updated it to v6.0.4. and saved the program again.Now i will try to download it to the PLC like this and also will try to rewrite it in v6.0.4 .Do u think i should just try v4.0 also ??? I have also been informed that my mate have tried to download this program also with the official logo software v5.0 downloaded from the siemens site if that helps ...

LOGO!Barbarian Posts: 173 Rating: (95)	Hey OutRuN! It looks like the program was written in LOGO! Soft Comfort (abreviated LSC) when the software had a version 0BA6 LOGO! selected as the eventual target device (check LSC in the bottom right hand corner) You should always double click in this little window to change the hardware version type BEFORE you write a pro gram and use functions that are only available on newer hardware- this is what has happened to you. If you select the right target hardware device, you will see the instruction tree of available functions change as you choose older/newer devices. In your program, somewhere, there is a black dot right on the input to a function block to INVERT the signal (logical NOT). This feature was a program optimisation to reduce the number of blocks use din a program, but was only available on version 0BA5 and later (maybe even on 0BA4, but I am not sure!) Go into the program, insert a conventional NOT block and drag the wires in and out of it - for each one. If that is the only function not supported on the 0BA3 that you are using, then you will be able to download to it! Hope this helps CHeers
