Has anyone else encountered this crash. PLCSIM runs for a while, then crashes. I had this with SP1 and upgraded to SP2 and still the same.

5 minutes after 3rd online download of software changes only.

UPDATE: realized that happened ONLY if MOSBUS Client, Server or RTU instruction used!!

When jumped (skipped) routines that call MODBUS, no crash!

The first thing is to make sure that PLCSIM is as up-to-date as possible (I have seen that some of you already have it). I'll leave the links below in case you need them.

If you update and it still doesn't work, you can try reinstalling PLCSim and testing it again to see if the error no longer appears.

Hello everybody,
I am still using TIA Portal V18.0 update 5 and PLCSIM V18 SP2. I have already uninstall and install PLCSIM and that problem still appears.
It seems it appears more while simulating ET200 CPU than S7-1xxx CPU.

I forgot to say I am still using Win10 Pro, version 2009, OS build 19045.5854 with Intel core I7-8650U 1.9 GHz, 2 processors

I also have a Modbus layer and do as HomerBL did, seems ok but I am far to feel it is the only reason, because last week I did not have any Problem !?

Today I started this morning and it was ok, but I had to move to meeting room to show the result, and after removing my PC from docking station PC
goes to standby and problem occurs ….
