Hi!

I`m learning SCL from the manual, and I tried to simulate the project they offer in the manual. But when I compiled it returns some errors. I declared in the symbol table as required. I find that in the SQUARE block / function they declared an INT named ”value” and below in the formula is used as ”val”. How is possible to add an example in the manual without compiling before? Or I am missing something. I attached the project. Thx!

I don't know if its working, I just only asnwered to your question. I only checked code and didn't found what you have asked for. To me is maybe simple, copy that SQUARE function code to your new SCL file, compile it and run from OB1 as is declared. I see it pretty simple.

can you finally give link to that manual? Any info about some revisions included inside? Any errors can exists and can be set in books also, common problem. On other side  this kind of problem teach you better to understand problematic. The times are still here, with copy & paste or find some on web and again copy and paste are not good ideas but frequently used, also here on forum.
