Perhaps try again.

In the name field it is important that you select from the pop-up list. If you type in the whole name, the system do not recognise it.

 It happens and quite often but when I tried it on you the message went through.

If he is sure he entered a subject  then it is a system error. How to recreate it is another question.

Edit: I just never thought I was blocked

Did you fill out the subject and recipient field? And are you sure that the recipient doesn't block you?

Then the error message is wrong.

Then I can only guess: Then the recipient put you on his ignore list. 

 The message is working now - I think someone (Moderator) fixed my account after looking at this post.

I didn't fix it and there wasn't a temporary issue. I think the recipient from your message saw your post and removed you from the ignore list.
