Hello samrr; Here is a download for the trial version of Simatic Automation Tool. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/98161300 As a trial version, it is fully functional for 21 days after installation. After that period, you need to license it if you wish to use it further. Hope this helps, |

That's the whole idea. They "own" that CPU and its HSP so that you must always go back to them. You initially stated that you wanted "emergency backup" of the program which you have done; surprisingly they did not password protect it. Did you requirements change or are you thinking of 20 years down the road when the PLC develops problems? Either way, this is how it is, they own the hardware and its support package and you will need to deal with them. Or if you know the machine well just buy the CPU you want and develop your own program for it. Piece of cake. |
