Can somebody please guide me.

Is it possible to read  the current Connection of PLC and display them on the screen in TiaPortal V13 SP1 using scrip or without script.

I am using mobile panel KTP700F when i connect the mobile panel to each zone want to know the IP address of that PLC which i already assign in the software for that Particular Zone. How to read that IP and Display them on the I/O filed in my screen. 

For Example if PLC for zone1 IP is 192.168.16.0  and zone2 IP is 192.168.16.1.  when mobile Panel connect to a  connection box in zone1, In The  I/O filed on the screen want to display zone1 PLC IP same for zone2.

Is there is a way to do that?

Hopefully experts will answer you better than I. I can only say what design idea I would look to resolve the issue.

1) Handle both PLCs as seperate PLCs in the project.

2) Have some logic that gives a heartbeat signal for each PLC.

3) The tags used in the project uses multiplexing. The switch of the multiplexing relates back to the heartbeat signal.

I do not know if you have scripting available for the HMI in question. If you do not have it, the heartbeat signal will get tricky. My first thought is to find a way that one HMI internal INT can be manipulated by both PLCs. But how, I am not sure.

Think about these and report back your thoughts.. hopefully a knowledgeble person will get interested and answer back.

I figure it out finally.

I used Script on Event Click button

First I created 3 tags IPAddress= String,  Rack =Integer  and Slot_No = Integer

Then type following Script beyond the button Event.

HmiRuntime.SmartTags("IPAddress").Value = "192.168.50.0"

HmiRuntime.SmartTags("Rack").Value = "0"

HmiRuntime.SmartTags("Slot_No").value = "2"

SetDeviceMode hmiOnline

ChangeConnection"Connection Name", SmartTags("IPAddress"), SmartTags("Slot_No"),SmartTags("Rack")

SetConnectionMode hmiOnline, "Connection Name"

I tried your script with WinCC Flixeble but doesn't seem to work. when I add it to the button the runtime won't be initiated.

does anyone know how to do this in WinCC flixeble for PLCSim?

Please open the script, click on "Check the script for syntax errors" and tell/show us the error message.
