Hello,

I am having trouble with the Recipe View when used with a KTP400 Basic HMI. The recipe view displays as expected in the TIA portal (V16) but when it is loaded to the HMI the are where the Recipe View should be is blank, the other items on screen work as expected just not he recipe view. I'm quite new to TIA portal so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the fast response, i've just tried to do a full software rebuild compile as you suggest but it hasnt worked, still the same problem.

Make very sure that the Recipe View is not bigger than the viewable area. Items that extends over the viewable area is not displayed.

I have set the recipe view as small as possible, on the KTP400 it still seems to hit the top of the display. I have had a look at Properties>Layout and set the size and position to Y:0, Y(size) 276 (the minimum allowed). I have also tried Y:1, Y(size) 276 but neither seem to work.

I have tried both as a simulation and on an actual device, it doesnt work for either.

Hi again qwazee,

You were correct, the recipe viewer is too large for the window even when on its smallest setting. To get around the problem i went to Properties>Appearance> deselect "display status bar". I could then make the viewer smaller and it works as it should.
