So I would recommend you to have a look in S7-200 manual [url]http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1109582[/url] chapter 14, page 373. There you get all information you need to use the data log. In your case you have to define a string which is saved by datalog by a special event. regards

I supposed it works . Anyway, I have no solution for this. But, if you only want to write "RUN" or "STOP" you can do it with "1" or "0" in a byte? regards
