Then it can make data transfer with target. But how should it work with your idea of a central station? How can one remote station communicate with another?

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, Yes, your network is possible with S7-200 Modem EM241. Your head can poll the substations to read/write data. And also any substation can communicate to a nother one with in the same way. The disadvantage of such a sollution is the necessary time to get the data transfered. Concerning the S7-200 manual one data exchange requires 20..30 seconds. This means in your case if your headstation polls the data from all substations then this requires 30 seconds multiplied by the number of substation (30*4 = 120sec). So to get the data from all substations updated in your headstation will require 2 minutes. But if this is acceptable then no problem. Regards Helmut
