Hello,

I use negative data records in my recipes for a pressure.
When I upload the program from my KTP900 Basic panel it changes to a positive value. (-0.5 -> 0.5)
When changing the recipe from the KTP it remains negative without any problem.

I already programmed around this to automaticly invert positive values but I would like to know why this happens.

Anyone who has had this problem and know a solution?

when you load the recipe parameters from the panel to the PLC, then the value in the PLC is already 0.5 instead of -0.5?

Do you use an unsigned tag on the PLC?

Indeed, when I load the recipe to the PLC there is a positive value written in the tag (0.5).

As PLC tag I use a REAL format, so it cannot be signed/unsigned, correct?

I searched the internet and forum for the problem but cannot find any solution.
Double checked the configuration of the tag in CPU and recipe, no possible problem found as I use a REAL format...

I solved my problem!

I increased the decimal places factor from 3 to 5 and my problem was solved.
So I guess the minus sign is also considered as a decimal place?

Anyway, my problem is solved, thank you all for the help!

In my case cause was hmi tag limitation.

Have a successfull vacuum (or like my case colling) systems !!!
