Hello,

I have a project and there is a VB function inside the faceplate as you can see in the attached photo. My question is how can i edit this VB function or add a new one also inside the faceplate. I'm using TIA V15.1

Split from VB script in faceplate.

If you created a button on the faceplate that has a vbscript on press left the vbscript gets executed.

Try something more simple than open popup for example try to make a tag to 1 and shot the tag on the main screen to confirm this. There might be an issue with your vbscript when it is inside of a faceplate especially if you are looking at activescreen items etc.

 My friend, this was not my question. My question is where in the TIA can i edit this VB script or how to create a new one?

All scripts are situated on the scripts tab of your wincc advanced project. Sorry i thought that was very obvious since you have already created the script. There are some pre-made scripts that are not editable for exable you cant edit in any way set bit even if you happen to believe that it is a vbscript behind energizing the bit. You can only edit your own created scripts.
