Hello experts, I have bought three identical NETLink PRO Family adapters 700-884-MPI21 (MPI,PPI,PROFIBUS to Ethernet) to use it to communicate to three different Siemens S7-300 CPU in our factory. These three CPU will be connected to a WINCC V7 Supervisory Computer. I will communicate to the three CPU through PROFIBUS and MPI (One CPU through MPI and two CPU through PROFIBUS). So I have created three access points on PG/PC interface. These access points will be used on WINCC V7 to Communicate to each CPU. Please see attached Captures 1, 2, 3 and 4. In "Set PG/PC Interface", for the "NETLink PRO Family.MPI.1" interface I have assigned the appropriate NETLink adapter. Please see Capture_5. My issue is on "NETLink PRO Family.PROFIBUS.1" interface, It accept just one NETLink adapter. I need two PROFIBUS interfaces to assign each interface to his NETLink Adapter. But there is just one NETLink Profibus interface. I want to know if there is a way to duplicate the "NETLink PRO Family.PROFIBUS.1" interface on PG/PC interface parameter list to be able to assign one interface to each NETLink adapter and one PROFIBUS Interface to each Access Point. I hope my question was clear for you. Thanks in advance for your support. Regards, Nader AttachmentCaptures.zip (569 Downloads) |

Hello NADER BHS, if you have installed three of the "NETLink PRO Family"-adapters see FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/11870489

I don´t think so.. You can create multiple MPI connections with different access points. |
