For FB (function block) setting such as timer, built-in screen, PWM etc., write the value on the setting screen for each FB.

I think that the above is the data handling method of LOGO! .

Luke - I see you mention PWM. I do not recommend the LOGO for controlling stepper motors.

Working with the LOGO!, I recommend also to use the FBD (function block diagramming) coding method. I think ixo65 will agree.

FBD is maybe difficult at first for someone who normally uses Ladder. Designs work out very good when you make the effort to get accustom to FBD in the LOGO.

Hi there  , i know that this post is 'out of date' but i would like to comment on that just in case if someone in the future is looking -how to achive a 'move' operation - like the S5 and S7 PLC's .

First you need to set up an address in the VM (variable memory table ) , in that case i take the value from the analog Amplifier and i store it in Word 2 location.

Secondly i use a combination of  Analog input  - Analog Mux and -  Analog output in order to tranfer the value i took from the Analog input in a different location of the memory.

maybe there are better ways to do it but for me that's working fine, hope that helps!

I need to "move" a daily production number to a "previous day output" register at the end of each shift. 

Is there an easier way than using the Analog_Mux?

(Yes a MOVE command would be very nice here)

I have several machines using LOGO's and would like to keep them due to costs. This is easily done in a S7-1200 but costs are important to my project money.
