Hi All,

Having a problem with this:

Internal ERROR (detail:Linker: data of a value object referenced by a value relation is not the specified type)? when attempting to compile the HMI in my project.

I have found similar subjects on the forum and on other sites, but the suggestions of rebuilding do not work.

The other issue is that the 'Goto' function doesn't work on the error, so I don't even know where this could originate within the project.

This is the 3rd HMI I've added into my project, and the first one I have had this issue with. Any suggestions??

sounds like your project has corrupt temporary data or your project has a defect.

you can close your project and then delete the "IM" folder in your project Path an then open the project again. Do a new compile and check if the problem is gone.

When the error is not gone then I suppose that your project has a defect. In this cas you should go to the technical support.

I am getting the same error when I compile, and have tried everything listed in this post.  Matt, were you able to resolve this issue?  What was the solution you found?

RIght-click the HMI. Choose compile. Choose Software (Rebuild all)
