I'm finding a strange issue that I cannot explain.

On my PC (TIA V16 update 4) I designed a project for a TP700 operator panel version v16.0.0.0.

I can download this project to my panel without any problems.

Now I open the same project on my service laptop who has also TIA V16 update 4 installed.

When I compile the project and want to download this project to the same panel as previously TIA finds a difference in the OS and ask me if I want to downgrade the firmware.

Why does my service laptop want to downgrade the OS on the Panel?

Is this your first download to an HMI from this Laptop? If so, you may need to install the software DVD 3, found at this link:

If not, please attach a screenshot of the "downgrade" message you see when downloading.

I updated TIA V16 to update 6 and also the panel updates.

With prosave I updated the firmware on the panel and now there are no problems anymore downloading the project to the panel from my computer or laptop.
