if you check FILL_BLK instructions, there is no Data typ DTL listet to use.

So you can project another "empfy" data block and copy / move it to the db where the values must be intialized.

Is this an Array DB, or global db that happens to have an array of DTL?

What PLC, what portal version, what PLC firmware revision.  It might make a difference.

Have you installed the latest updates for your portal version and installed the latest available firmware for the PLC and changed the PLC in the project to the latest firmware supported by that portal version?

These things might offer additional instructions that may help solve the problem.

Also, is the DB optimized or non-optimized?

If it is non-optimized, you can cheat and use the AT overlay to pretend the DTL array memory is an array of bytes and simply fill that array of bytes with 0's.  That may not produce a valid DTL array, but then again, it very well might if a 0---0 DTL is equivalent to all 0's in the bytes used by the DTL.

Create an equally sized array in TEMP memory. Do an assignment / move from the temp array to the original array.

The jury is still out if the mentioned idea is quicker in processing than just stepping through each array item (for-loop) and clearing it.

Other question: Why clear the elements at all? Surely it is known that the elements are valid or invalid.
