Hello ! When I want to find PLC through "Online Acces" I get error: PLC Online : Function not implemented in loaded communication driver. How can I fix it ?

OS Windows 7, TIA Portal V 10.5 SP2 Update 1.

I am getting this same error but I am using TIA Portal V13 SP1.  This has worked for the last few weeks with no issue.  Now I cannot get online with my PLC very suddenly.  I am running Windows 7 Pro, 64bit.  Last week I was forced to accept a few Windows updates... perhaps that is the issue.  Please help!

I am sorry for refreshing old thread but it looks like I have similar or the same problem like an author.

So far I was using TIA portal V12 and I've never had any problem with communication. Lately I uninstaled TIA V12 and installed TIA portal V13 SP1. When I tried to connect with my new PLC in new TIA I noticed that I am not able to choose my local ethernet card in show accesible device function. I only can choose Teleservice option. What is interesting I can see my local ethernet card in menu online access and when I am clicking update accessible devices there, I get an error in message window: Online: Function not implemented in loaded communication driver.  

Moreover I am able to ping my PLC from command window. My system is win 7 64 bit. 

I am also sending some screens from my computer in doc file.

Could you please help me to find solution for this problem?

check please your cable adapter interface IP address. If you adjust it let's say as 192.168.0.99 maybe life became easy.

It happen to me and I realised that my cable adapter ip address was static and adjusted a far away addresses.

you should be sure your adapter address at automatic or static for a suitable address.

I tried with different IP addresses and without improvement. It is not problem with IP imo but with ethernet card drivers in some way.

I did what you wrote and at the begining it didn't help but I don't know what happened but now it is ok. I can choose pn/ie and I am able to connect with my plc. Thank you very much for your help!!

I am also facing the same thing. IP was ping but cpu not accessible. . From where you changed PN/ie.

but with Tia Portal 16, I tryed to change address,

to remove and reinstall network card drivers but was unseuccessfull,

Have you any suggestion...?
