Thank you for replying! I will search for the forum for the things you suggested. But I still find it weird that the S7-300 PLC does not have any problems using the protected FB's, whereas the S7-1500 suddenly does. => I will also create a "Support Request". What do you mean by "files in text exports"? Because there is a (now successfully tested) workaround in order to read the protected files in Simatic Manager. The workaround does not work once the project is migrated. For me it is very difficult to to re-use (copy-paste) and then fix the compiled code into TIA-Portal (among other things because of pointer vs symbolic access of DB's I think => see latest comment on this post: How can convert scl program that has been written ın Step7 to TIA? - 225862 - Industry Support Siemens). Is the access to the compiled STL code of any use? I will search in the S7-1500 toolbox, but I'm afraid that because of the old age of the GSD file (2007), the motion control blocks won't successfully interact with the GSD (I'll test it anyway tho).
The source files from SCL are surely nowhere to be found. |
