Hello Everyone, There is a network structure as you can see in the drawing below. There are 4 PLCs working redundantly with each other in the system. There are two SIMATIC rack WinCC computers. We have HARDNET license. In the structure below, our WinCC servers can work redundantly, but we can communicate with a single connection from the PLC (left). When I connect my gray network cables to the switch, I get Duplicated MAC adress error on my WinCC servers and my CP1623 internet ports are silent and the port colors turn gray on the computer. I don't have enough network knowledge so I don't understand. I'm not sure if I need to set up a structure like VLAN or NIC teaming to prevent this conflict. Or do I need to configure the XDB file from Simatic Manager in a different way? Thank you in advance for your answers. AttachmentWinCC Redundancy CP1623.pdf (236 Downloads) |

Hello Mr. Cetkin This application example is quite old but should be right also with cirrent versions: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/16667714 Check if you have set all the MAC adresses correctly in CPs on PLC and HMI side Bye Murof |
