Hello!

I am using Tia Portal V17 and I was wondering if there is any possibility that you can convert a string variable, for example:

string := 'P#DB121.DBX0.0' (that looks like a pointer to a data block)

Into an actual Address ? 

The point of this is, that I have a code that sometimes doesn't use certain data blocks because sometimes they doesn't exist (it depends on the project). Therefore instead of changing the whole code I wanted to create a code that would only check how many of these data blocks exist (int) and regarding the number it would convert the correct string into an actual address (which in this case exists). Is this even possible ?
