TIA portal v11 SP2 HSP support package install error

Punithavel_k Member Joined: 1/5/2021 Last visit: 6/27/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Guys, I am having CPU 1212C DC/DC/DC (6ES7 212-1AE31-0XB0) V3.0 in our machine and Program was created in TIA v11 SP2 UPD3. I was tried to upload the PLC back up, but it was not able to done. because of TIA v11 SP2 UPD3 supporting till HW version v2.2. So, i tried to update HW packages and same downloaded from Siemens Portal. While installing support package. "The Digital signature of the support package HSP CPU21x v3.0 is Invalid" error coming. You need the same TIA version as the project loaded on the CPU, as stated in the FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/do/en/view/97554052 Have a nice day.

Strafo56 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I'm having the same issue, TIA V 17 SP1. Yesterday I could update ET 200 HW and no issue about digital signature invalid. Today I need to update the TM Position2 6ES7 551-1AB01-0AB0 and it popup the message. The digital signature of bla bla bla in invalid. The project is made in TIA V17 download from other PC which has V17 (no SP1). I read your reply, but honestly it do not help much, as the FAQ link you placed it just open again to the same post. But since I am known to be wrong: Contact Siemens by using the Siemens Support link. Show a photo of your software license certificate in your query, to (hopefully) speed up the process.
