Hi,

I am working at factory as an maintenance engineer and we want to add some modifications on one of our production lines. Program was done by an external company and it is made in TIA v16.

We just got our new M6 PG from Siemens with TIA v18 on it. I connected to the PLC and went online to see if I have the newest version before editing the code. When i went online, I saw that all of my online and offline functions are different. I tried to compare it but the error message popped up saying that program was done in TIA v16 and that I have TIA v18. I honestly thought that I could enter any previous versions of TIA with TIA 18. At least from TIA v16 to TIA v18 (Image 2), but it looks like I can't for some reason. Also, when I try to upload the software to my PG, it gives me the same error. Do you maybe know what to do and is there any solution?
