Hi hadi.edrisi, As mentioned earlier, one option would be to use the CPU 1518-4 PN/DP MFP (multifunctional platform). The same functionality (regarding the possibility to integrate C/C++ functions) can be achieved by using an S7-1500 software controller together with ODK 1500S. Kind regards |

There is a special group of processors that has a C/C++ runtime built in. These are highly functional and expensive. One such is: 6ES7518-4AX00-1AC0. But reading your question leaves the impression that you are focussing on the interaction with the engineering software rather the the PLC code. There is repeated reference to the "TIA Portal" framework which is not responsible for executing LAD/SCL/STL code. You can use the Openness API (C#) if you wish to interface with "TIA Portal" or more specifically the "Step7" module. But perhaps it is your hope to use C++ in your OB/FC/FB code blocks. For the most part SCL is similar to Pascal which is the cousin of C which may still fit in with what you wish to achieve with a little bit of effort. So what are your thoughts? |
