We are setting up remote I/O on a machine, and have run into trouble with assigning a profisafe address to a particular module. I'm not sure exactly what I've done to create this error, but now when I try and assign an address to the module, the dialogue box now says there are differences between the online and offline F-Addresses. It doesn't flash the LEDs on the module to confirm we've selected the right one, or let us assign a profisafe address.

When we go online, and look at the diagnostics, the error says Mismatch of the safety destination Address (F-Dest-Addr). All the front LEDs are red,

The module is a 6ES7 136-6BA01 0CA0, and we're using TIA v18. The module hasn't been used on any other machine before, but we have tried to assign the address a few times, which might explain the error. But we've also tried another module (same part number) which hasn't been used at all, and the same error is showing, which I can't understand.

My (very inexperienced) guess would be the problem isn't in the card, but the header module or CPU or with how they are configured

Any suggestions for how we can proceed?

The base unit used is 6ES7 193 6BP40 0DA1. It's unspecified in the project as a generic white base unit.

Thank you for prompting us to check that, because that's definitely the wrong one. Thankfully we had a spare with the right part number, and we've now assigned a profisafe address
