Hello all,

I did not want to open new topic. I have similar issue and I need to keep cycle time constant for all program. How to i succeed it? Difference between min and max cycle time is 14 ms.

In the hardware configuration of the PLC is a setting
where you can specify the minimum cycle time.

Why is it important for you to have a repeated cycle time? Consider the use of a time cycle OB for the processes that must be repeated in a fixed / scheduled time cycle.

I am trying to make it stable since PLC and one dedect camera needs to be synchronous.

As you told, if I organize minumum cycle, what about for maximum? Should I enter the time I see at the maximum as a minumum?

Yes.

Explain: The PLC cycle will never be shorter than the preset "minimum". But if some unforeseen process takes longer, the cycle will be longer. This could happen when you connect your PC to the PLC. At that moment the PLC cycle is influenced. The PLC cycle stabilizes after the PC connection is stable.

Do however consider that you can move the time sensitive code
to a special OB that repeats at a preset interval. Below shows an example, but you can make the 100ms time interval smaller.

Normally the I/O of the PLC is synchronized with OB1.
It is possible to define that some inputs and outputs synchronise with another OB.
