Hi,

I am trying to perform the following:

1. Create a library (UDP_Block)

2. Inside the library there are defined User Data Types. (in this example I have doubts with To_OCS and From_OCS)

3. Import the UDP block to an empty program (the UDTs will be added automatically)

- Replace the To_OCS and From_OCS UDT by others without braking all the links between the imported blocks and the library

- Brake the link only to the existent To_OCS and From_OCS

- Generate new ones from an external source file and give the same name (To_OCS and From_OCS)

4. Compile the SW

As far as I can see it is not possible, because:

1. every time I compile the SW it generates new To_OCS and From_OCS UDTs and rename them as To_OCS_1 and From_OCS_1
2. Inside the imported library block (UDP_Block) the UDTs will be updated to To_OCS_1 and From_OCS_1
3. Mismatch between the ones I want to use and the ones included in the library

If I brake all links with the library it is possible to do, but then the version control will be lost.

So my question is if there is a way of editing the library so the link between a specific element can be broken or the element deleted? And when the library is imported it comes already without the specified element (UDTs in this case). I wasn´t able to do it…
