Which license is required for tia portal programming?

Hello, which license required for tia portal programming. Basic Or Professional?? & is it different for different tia versions e.g V15.1 ,V16 , V17 & V18 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi suraj07, It depends on the hardware you want to use in STEP 7 TIA Portal. With the Basic license, you can only program S7-1200 family PLCs. With the Professional license you can also program S7-300/400 and S7-1500. For more information about the scope of performance of the products, please refer to the manual. Kind regards |
