I have set up Time Zone and enabled Daylight-Saving-Time on my S7-1200.

Now, is there a system status Bit that shows that the DST is on? I would like to use it in my HMI.

Have a look at the "LGF_SetTime" function provided in the Siemens Library found at..

Library of general functions (LGF) for SIMATIC STEP 7 (TIA Portal) and SIMATIC S7-1200 / S7-1500

Essentially the SET_TIMEZONE instruction is used to control the time zone offset and daylight saving time. You cannot query the state but you can control it. The program needs to remember whereto the setting has been set to.

You can use RD_SYS_T, RD_LOC_T and T_DIFF instruction to know the diference in the UTC time and the local time, based on this, you can estipulate the timezone / Daylight saving time

I found this instead:

Function RD_LOC_T returns an integer value. If it is 1, the Local Time is output as DST.
