The answer is quite simple and may appear "dumb" under a certain point of view.

Yes, they are all in the same project. 

But Simotion x127 is only connected to the Laptop, with an ip address range. 

All other parts are connected together to port x150 of Simotion.

Should i make a new one for the x127 port ? with a new S7 subnet id ? 

Then download hw config to the plc ? and also to the Simotion ? 

Download only the configuration to the Simotion ?

from Tia Portal ? or from Tia Scout ? 

Will this stop the Simotion ? (because the machine is running)
