Hi!

I'm finishing the commissioning of a Mill with a Siemens Sinumerik 828D, this mill has no Turret nor Magazine for it admits manual tools only (old model), the issue that it's presenting is that whenever I try to add a tool, the controller doesn't saves it or asks in wich position of the magazine is it, even if i specificate that it's a manual tool, yet it doesn't saves the tool configuration when I try to use it on a program.

I have the same problem here.  For sw ver.  4.7  cnc commissioning manual  there is  a section   about tool management without magazine  it  might be helpful. attached  is part of it.

please let me know if you get any clew.

 Thanks to @az2020 (Mr. Azed) recommendation I managed to finish the settings but in that process, the machine developed the alarms 17190 and 12550 anytime I try to use the Tools that already have been saved (now they are saved with the number and there is no magazine just as I needed).

But i dont know how to fix this issue for  it seems to be an NC issue with the TP7 parameter.

I attached the alarms from the diagnostics manual (4 pages marked)
