Hi all, I have been using the Libraries for Communication for SIMATIC Controllers for quite sometime to control the MIR Robot using a S7 PLC. The REST API of the MiR robot provides GET, PUT, POST and DELETE methods for externally controlling the robot using a REST Client. In my case the PLC acts as the REST Client and can perform the GET, PUT and POST calls using the LHTTP GET FB, and the LHTTP PostPut FB. Is there a way to trigger HTTP DELETE methods using the PLC? Similar to changing the "method" in the LHTTP PostPut from 0: Post to 1: Put, can this be extended to allow DELETE method? A key requirement for the DELETE method is inorder to reset the robot automatically, the Mission Queue in the robot needs to be deleted where in all the scheduled missions will be deleted. Currently as there is no DELETE support from the LHTTP Library, it is a bit challenging for us, as we cannot externally delete the mission queue. Any leads or suggestions regarding this problem would be of great help. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Arvind |
