Can't assign PROFISAFE address in F-IO in ET200SP interface 6ES7155-6AU02-0BN0

Luh_Days Member Joined: 12/3/2019 Last visit: 10/29/2025 Posts: 36 Rating: (2)	Hi everyone, I recently worked with the PROFINET interface module of the ET200SP (6ES7155-6AU02-0BN0) and attempted to add F-IOs to its configuration. After setting up the hardware, I was unable to assign any PROFIsafe addresses. I tried doing this in both TIA Portal V18 and V19 without success. I also attempted to downgrade the firmware version of the module, but I still couldn't assign the PROFIsafe addresses. Has anyone else encountered this issue or know how to solve it? Hazard_7 Bronze Member Joined: 5/30/2022 Last visit: 1/20/2026 Posts: 634 Rating: (103)	Hi Luh_Days, 1- Have you assigned the periphery to a PLC? 2- Please install the HSP for V19 and configure the ET200SP by catalog instead of GSD and try to solve your problem: Support Packages for the hardware catalog in the TIA Portal (HSP) 3- Check that you are following the correct procedure: Assigning a PROFIsafe address of the F-I/Os with SIMATIC Safety
