MAS 21: Never get a C LED On

Mamamija Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello everybody!! I'm trying to get SET_21 to work. A hardware S-200 (CPU-226), SINAUT MD720-3. I download the start sodes of MicroWin, WinCCFlex, SinautMicro cs.. The problem is: When I download the program to the PLC the modem gets first data the modem starts to initiate theconnection (S blinks normaly, then Q blinks normaly, Q is on, S is on bu I never get any blink from C LED)... The microCS - > no any connections What could be the problem??

If these settings are incorrect, you will get no GPRS connection and no C_LED will be ON. So I would recommend you to check these settings. regards

I set APN and passwords(there is no password) in the data blocks of the PLC program . that's it Or should I configure modem itself first?? Hoh should I check that modem is able to set GPRS without PLC??

If S and Q LED are permanently ON, then modem is connected to GPRS. C-LED is only ON, if modem is connected to SINAUT SC Server. So, check IP Address of Server in data block. If you havn't an IP, rather a address like "http://..." then you need also DNS-IP Address of your provider. Also check on server side, if server-port is opened in router and if internet connection works.

Mamamija Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	My network manager fixed the port forwarding for me but result is the same (no any blink from C-led), I tave tryed to put external IP address (router) into WCD_init - no result... :( Does the C led starts blinking always for you?? It seems that it doesn't even tryes to establish a connection.. how can it happen? I don't get any erroes from WCD_INIT or WCD _CONTROL

But beware, its normally a dynamic IP Address. That means, after every new login from router to internet, you get a new IP address. And, how I wrote before, open the Port from SinautSC in router by configurating port forwarding. It depends on the router, how to do this. Please read manual of router, to find this options. Did it work now or not?
