The request for the access of SPC3 is generated from the positive edge of the AS signal (In addition toXCS =0/1 R_W = 0/1)

Hence we required to check and confirm for timing reference to Coldfire ( Pl. Note: The AS signal is not available from Coldfire and required to generate externally.)

I prefer going with any existing design for the bus interfacealongwith "glue" logic if required and don't want to spend more time on timing/hardware issue.

Would appreciate any help regarding this....

we have some applications using 16bit interfaces,
mostly it´s done via a PLD/FPGA device in addition,
or sometimes in software with port-pin emulation.
Generally spoken, its possible with add. effort.

Please check for our new VP3C+S with SPI interface,
assuming that your coldfire-uC provides also SPI.
would save time and components.
