The V1.0.3 is uninstalled during V1.0.4 installation, and V1.0.4 exit, restart V1.0.4 installation, it said V1.0 needed. see attachment.

Did you follow exactly the installation instruction?

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Load the file PC_Access V1.0.4.10_SP4.zip to your PC

2. Unpack the archive.

3. In the directory you will find a file designated Rejoin.bat. Start this file with a double-click.

4. Now you will see an additional file in your directory called S7-200_PCAccess_V10_SP4.exe. Start the update by executing this file.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions provided during the installation process to conclude the installation.

Unfortunately now you need to install the PC Access Software from CD, because the SP does not allow an installation without a valid installed version of PC Access.

Try to install again, after contact with Siemens office in your place if received the same story...
