Dilli Posts: 122 Rating: (1)	I have a functional block (eg FB55), want to create an instance data block (DB55) accesible in HMI through simatic net, the condition is to create DB55 with not only symbolic acces - when i try- the check box with "Symbolic acces only" is inactive. When you create new FB, you have to select symbolic or non-sybmbolic. You can't change it afterwards. What you can do is to create a new FB and copy all the networks and variables from the old into the new.

That results in more work, because then you have to change your HMI program as well.

That results in more work, because then you have to change your HMI program as well. it depends on skills of everyone, for exemple I always change my instance db only by adding variable to end, on this way i don't touch adress of other variables
