MICRO Computing with PPI/USB

Robo3001 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody I'm working with PLC S7-224 and I've a PPI/USB cable, i made a code at VB6 with tool of MICRO computing. my program report a message about "Unable to connect to contol engine wcS7=2", maybe i think that this (Micro Computing) not support the use of PPI/USB,I hope i wrong. I'll waiting for your answers... bye...(greetings from Perú)

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, as I remember at that time there was no USB PC/PPI cable and also the supported operating systems was only up to WindowsNT. So you have a good change that it does not work. Try PC-Access the OPC-Server for S7-200. Here you can download a 60 day lizense to check your code: https://www.automation.siemens.com/mcms/programmable-logic-controller/de/simatic-s7-controller/s7-200/demosoftware/pcaccess/Seiten/Default.aspx#DownloadderDemosoftware Or go to: www.siemens.de/s7-200 and select "Demo software S7-200 PC Access".
