S7-222 supports this protocol and now it depends on FATEK PLC. I don't know these PLCs and if they support modbus. You should check what protocols supports FATEK PLC. OPC servers is used to communicate between some 3rd party PLCs and SCADA systems. It will not help in your case I mean PLC<-->PLC communications.

After that you should make one PLC master and other slave and make regular modbus master-slave communication. You can't just access FATEK PLC with one instruction. You should poll modbus slave with modbus master and you will access slave's modbus memory map. You can exchange data between two plc's by using this mapped memory. You can buy instruction library by using this code 6ES7830-2BC00-0YX0

bite me Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Where can I get the Modbus instruction library... If I can only connect both the PLCs over RS485 network and give addresses to each PLC using its own software. Is is possible the communicate because both the PLC follow the protocols of RS 485.

You should contact your local Siemens dealer and as for this library. When you get your library there you will find some help which can help you to make communication.
