$0060 Serial Port Line Status Reg Err - MYCRO system

LarryT Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I realize this is reaching "way back" into some of the older Siemens/Moore equipment... but... I am trying to use a Pentium III class (WinNT) machine as a PC interface for High Level Link communication to configure/load MLCs (three MLCs on this HLL). Running CPUKiller to slow the Pentium processor down to a crawl. Have configured the COM1 serial port to the normal settings for HLL/MLCs. Seems to work fine until I try to Upload or Download configuration. I am receiving the following error: "Serial Port Line Status Reg. Err. $0060" Perhaps I need to use the Serial Port Flow Control setting. If so, which one? Any ideas would be appreciated...

Thomas_Glenn Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Larry, Could not find anything on your serial port status. Make sure all the serial devices are configured the same. Usually hardware control is off. Serial is set to 19.2K 8N1. There is a troubleshooting section in the HLL Remote I/O Server Software Guide (HLLRIO2r4.pdf). Good Luck! Attachment HLLRIO2r4.pdf (475 Downloads)
