Speed readout on td200

aiden25 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	hi again, just wondering if it is possible to get the speed of a drive on the td200, (eg for a manually controlled motor running off mm420) using a 10k pot through the analogue input of an s7-224. i only need a rough speed indication so was going to use the input voltage from the pot to get a rough speed. or is there a better way of doing it? cheers

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, if the MM420 is controlled via USS protcoll fro a S7-200, then you get the speed as a feedback from the USS_CTRL Block. If not, then you have to scale the value from the poti. This can be done by your selve, or you can use the scale-Lib for S7-200. The Lib you can get here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27043396 Hope this helps Helmut
