NPSK Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Hi Dpk More information needed , whether you want to to use simenes scanda or any other scada. Any way if you want to connect opc you can use PC ACCESS for s7 200 communication. And normal PPI cable is sufficient.

NPSK Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Hi Dpk If you want to Kepware. The noramla com port PPI cable is suffient. If you want to use ethernet the use CP243-1 ethernet module. But we didn't used this configuration. But we sure that the com PPI cable was working well in the OPC Kepware connectivity.

Waleed El-Badry Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	Hi dpk, generally speaking, what you need to carry out a simple SCADA is: PLC(s): As they will perform the control process. Communication ports: Where PLC(s) connects to each other or/and to PC that has a software to monitor the I/Os. It also require communication protocol: like Modbus and physical connection such as Serial or Ethernet. OPC Server: to fetch and transfer data between SCADA software and PLC(s). Software for monitoring: which could be specific as Siemens WinCC or generic as I use : LabVIEW, VB.NET. Hope it helps

You can download the program and manuals from official website but for operation, it needs hardlock.It drivers for several PLCs specially SIEMENS products. regards
