How much is the exact current capacity?

On one of Simodrive LT power module, Siemens make specification are as follows. MLFB no 6SN1123-1AB00-0BA1 2x25A, Serial No T-X42001838. When I refered the manual it specifies as, dual axispower module with rated/peak current capacity as 9/18Amp. Now the confusion is, then how on the power module it is described as 2x25A? Thanks in advance.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello Deep, When you refer the manual...Yes it specifies dual axispower module with rated/peak current capacity as 9/18Amp but look in the manual of Simodrive 611 digital Configuration Manual Drive converters. pg no88... 2*25 means the momentary peak current of 25A...check this document may be useful 6SN1123-1AB00-0BA1 2x25A, SIMODRIVE 611 POWER MODULE, 2 AXES, 25 A, INTERNAL COOLING, MOTOR RATED CURRENT: FEED = 9 A MAIN SPINDEL = 8 A Regards, Ekalavya Attachment power module.pdf (253 Downloads)
