Microwin hang-up, Dos Promt appeared & disappeared, comm problem occur.

win3xzaga Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Good day to all, Just had some problem here communicating with my plc S7-200 CPU 224. I've just finished recently a project with CPU 224CN and it went fine. When i tried to connect to CPU 224 I noticed that microwin hung-up for a few minutes and then a dos prompt appeared on screen for a second but immediately disappeared. Since then my connection on all cpu type have problem and show communication error. I tried to re-installed my microwin V4.0 SP8 but still same problem occur. I'm using a PC/PPI Cable with a USB-Serial converter and set the right port and baud rate setting. USB-Serial converter works fine with my other application. Need help on this...thanks in advance.... As I were reviewing the screenshot of the error i've attached on this post, I noticed the address set on the PPI cable...set to 2...this should be set to 0. I assumed this happened when the the software hung-up when i accidentally tried to set the language to chinese while working on cpu 224 only. When set correctly...everthing is good.... win3xzaga
