Well guess what, I actually got it working. It might not be very elegant or efficient as far as programming goes but it does work. I would be more than happy to upload the program (0BA7), if anyone is interested in taking a look. I would welcome any advice or criticism. One other thing, is it possible to directly address each block on a LOGO TD. Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to chip in with advice so far. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you.

Just a couple of notes. The four function keys are used to set the preset meterage and I5 is the count input. I7 must be made for a reel change and reset to take place and I1 starts the winder which has to be on for the counter to function. I5 is set as frequency and maximum is 4100 which equates to 123 M/min. Enjoy. Attachment ReifCounter80.zip (284 Downloads)
