Problem with installation sp8 for step7 microwin

Karoll_L Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello :) I have problem with instalation step 7 microwin. Firstly I installed main program step 7 microwin (version 4.0.0.81) and it's ok. However my system is windows vista bussines and i have to update program to version 4.0.8.06. I install service pack by instructions: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objId=58523240&nodeid0=10805149&load=content&lang=en&siteid=cseus&aktprim=0&objaction=csview&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW Unfortunately when I'm installing SP, information appears. 6e0qx.jpg in attachment I choose file where microwin is installed, and after this error appears. 24mz19l.jpg in attachment Can someone help me? I also tried install it on the XP SP3, and it's the same problem. Sorry for my english Attachment pictures.zip (346 Downloads)

How can you carry out an upgrade on an operating system that no longer supports the existing STEP 7 Micro/WIN version? Regards, Marcjan

Karoll_L Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thanks for reply Marcjan, I installed previous version - step 7 microWin 4.0 from CD, and after this installation i tried to install sp8, so now I have to find computer with xp sp2 and install it on this computer and after this copy to my computer and update, yes? can I download full version with sp8/sp9?

And now I want to install Microwin SP8 on my computer with windows vista sp2. I have question. I have to before paste the microwin.exe install the version MricrowWIN 4.0.0.81, and after this change paste file microwin.exe in C:\Program Files\Siemens\STEP 7-MicroWIN V4.0\bin, and next install update? Or in my computer with windows vista I don't install MricrowWIN 4.0.0.81, only create new folder C:\Program Files\Siemens\STEP 7-MicroWIN V4.0\bin and than paste microwin.exe and install update?
