CP343-1 Lean - Cant add module to existing CPU?

The CP is communicating via MPI on the Backplane Bus, a double used MPI adress could create a busfault, although i don't understand why there is no message while compiling. In offline the MPI address are diferent. and one more thing, i also tried to change the MPI address of CPU to 9, just in case there is address conflict. But the result is same. Thank you for helping. Got an CPU error IDEvent ID 16# 49A0 -hardware setup or module defective- and cannot start CPU. I tried 2 new CP cards, so module cannot be defective. How to resolve the problem? I have updated my hardware catalog and I'm using Step7 V5.4.

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi, can you post your configuration. CPU with MLFB and Firmwareversion? There are also othere modules pluged in this station? Did you trieda minimized Hardware configration CPU and onlytheCP? Whats about the LED on CP? CP is new one 1CX10 with Firmware V2.6, right?

canpol Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	The machine is about 2 years old. CPU is 315-2AG10-0AB0, CP is brand new one ... 343-1CX10-... My Step7 V5.4, after catalog updates, always offers V2 for this CP - maybe this is a problem? I installed those modules several times before without problems. I tried solutions mentioned earlier in the thread to no avail. CP and CPU are in stop mode. Orange and red LEDS are on. I only have limited time to experiment - machine is in production 24/7 - so I did not try to remove other hardware and try CPU and CP only. see attached cfg file, cheers Attachment simatic 300(1).zip (235 Downloads)

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi, Step7 is not a problem. You can't use the newest features, but it will work. Did you check the Power Supply, because you have some modules in Main Rack. you shouldn't use only 2 Amps. Did you try a check only with CPU and CP? Is the reaction the same? CPU is ok and released for use with this CP. What you should do is to use an empty MMC/cleared card where no application is loaded to secure that no software feature will cause the error.
